Not a pro or anti gun post…
I post this not to discuss a pro gun owner agenda or an anti-gun or gun ban belief. I think the video speaks for itself:
I posted this video because:
a.) The brief “Not intended for use in homes with children” line makes me laugh
b.) I hope in a future commercial they decide to demonstrate the need to keep a loaded shotgun within immediate reach of your bed. I picture and elderly woman (blue-haired grandma) fast asleep who is suddenly surprised by an evil criminal (i.e., large knife-wielding bald black-man on PCP) who kicks in the door and charges the bed while maniacally screaming ‘Die whitey!’ Immediately, grandma springs to action, reaching for her gun, sits up and shoots the criminal mid-leap, slamming him back into the wall. Then, grandma clumsily reaches for her glasses on the night stand, puts them on as she stands up, walks over to the criminal, rolls him over with her foot as she says in a sassy tone, “Second amendment, bitch!” Then, she looks at her Back-Up on the bed and winks at it.
“The Back Up” people, feel free to use this, free of charge. Consider it my gift to you.

Twenty-five years ago today, the first cell phone made a call, from Chicago’s Soldier Field to Alexander Graham Bell’s great-grandson who was located in Germany. The “brick” phone, as it was known, cost $3,995, was 13 inches long, and weighed 1.75 pounds.
