It has been awhile since I posted about robots… so, check these guys out: Boston Dynamics. Will robots rise against their creators and take over the world within my lifetime? I don’t know, but if they do and we try to fight back and find out we can’t knock them down by kicking them - much of the blame will fall squarely upon the shoulders of Boston Dynamics.
I loved Escape to Witch Mountain when it first aired in 1975. Of course, I was only 7 years old, so I don’t know how much of a movie aficionado I really was… however, I also remember being in love with Kim Richards who played Tia (check her out dancing from 1985’s Tuff Turf), and I have to say, I was quite right in picking out talent in that case! Anyway, they are making a new one… Race to Witch Mountain. It doesn’t look too bad (despite “the Rock” being in it and what appears to be a fairly silly looking Terminator robot of some sort).
