About Me

August 4, 2007

I’ve been in the marketing game since 1990. I am a Jack-of-all-trades and have been employed as a writer, artist, webmaster, video editor and motion graphics artist.

Except for a two year stint in California as a youngster, I’ve spent all of my life in the burbs of Chicago. I’m happily married and a father of a young boy who can probably beat you in Xbox. When I am not working on the computer, goofing off on the computer or learning more about computer software, I’m likely coaching my son’s T-ball or soccer teams, watching movies with the wife or reading some sci-fi/fantasy novel… or perhaps talking about robots.

Lastly, I am one of the Green people. I read about the Green movement, tell others about it, am involved in it via my work, am using a dark background for this site (see: Blackle) in case it matters. More importantly, I am actively doing things about it in my house and lifestyle to lessen my impact on the environment (recycling, using CFLs, sensors on some of my lights, proper water heater and central air settings, improved sealing on windows and doors, eco-friendly pool chemicals, etc.). I turn the lights and computer monitors off when I leave my office and just the other day I rode my bike to the video store instead of driving.
